Two Bathrooms for a More Comfortable Stay

The lodge has two bathrooms, helping groups prepare for days out without crowding into one shared space.

The main ensuite includes a roll-top bath positioned to make the most of the surrounding natural setting. The second bathroom provides a spacious walk-in shower and practical facilities for the rest of the group.

Fresh towels, essential bathroom items and a hairdryer are provided. A washing machine, clothes dryer, iron and ironing board are also available for guests planning longer stays or active Cornwall holidays.

Open-Plan Living Among the Trees

The main living space brings the kitchen, dining and seating areas together in one bright, sociable room. Large windows and doors frame the woodland outside, while oak finishes and warm flooring help the interior feel connected to its surroundings.

The open-plan design gives everyone space to cook, eat and relax together. It also opens directly onto the balcony, making it easy to move between indoor and outdoor living during warmer weather.

Heating is available throughout the lodge, including underfloor heating, so the property remains comfortable during autumn and winter stays as well as summer holidays.

Kitchen Facilities

Private Balcony and Outdoor Living

The balcony is one of the lodge’s defining spaces. It provides room for outdoor dining, quiet morning coffee and relaxed evenings surrounded by the tree canopy.

The property’s private setting means you can enjoy the outdoor areas without the atmosphere of a busy resort or holiday park. The stream, trees and changing light create a different view throughout the day and across the seasons.

Guests also have access to private grounds and woodland areas. Suitable footwear is recommended because rural paths may be uneven, wet or muddy depending on the weather.

Hot Tub and Sauna

The private outdoor hot tub accommodates up to six people and is available exclusively to lodge guests. It offers a comfortable place to relax after visiting Cornwall’s beaches, gardens, towns and coastal paths.

A private sauna is available by appointment. Guests should arrange sauna access with the host or house manager and follow the supplied guidance for safe use.

A Lodge for Every Season

Tresillian Lodge is designed for year-round stays.

In spring, the woodland setting becomes brighter and greener, making it a good base for garden visits and country walks. Summer brings longer days for beaches, villages and outdoor dining. Autumn adds colour and quieter attractions, while winter turns the lodge into a private heated retreat with a hot tub and sauna available after a day outdoors.

Because Cornwall’s weather can change quickly, the lodge’s combination of indoor comfort and outdoor experiences gives guests useful flexibility throughout the year.
